The Atack band was formed in 1987 in Wodzisław Śląski (Poland) on the initiative of Zbigniew Gniewek (pseudo Kibi) - a composer and guitarist of the band. The team's many years of activity were interrupted by numerous breaks. Nevertheless, the team marked their activity by winning Gitariady, or reviewing rock bands that were then operating in the Rybnik Coal District. He performed in his history against such groups as: Coma, Bracia, Oddział Zamknięty, always vividly and enthusiastically received by listeners. In 2003, the band recorded their material in Studio J.P. in Jastrzębie Zdrój (at that time with the vocalist), however, the material was never released, just like Epka recorded in 2008 in No Fear studio from Rybnik (with vocalist Mateusz Kostaniuk - now Old Waves) Currently, members of the band (in the new line-up) register their debut Long Play, which will contain 13 compositions. Atack's music is firmly set in heavy metal riffs of the 90s.
