Attie Van Wyk

key, syn, dr machine,
Producer of Rock, R&B/Soul and Pop

South African promoter, producer, and songwriter, born July 26th, 1952. After his stint as keyboardist with Ballyhoo (it was he who penned their "Man on the moon" hit), he went on to produce a slew of other famous acts such as Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Chicco, and Steve Hofmeyr. In 1989 Mr. van Wyk launched the "BIG Concerts" promotions company which brought Paul Simon to the country -- ending years of a "cultural boycott".
