A.k.a. English Dogs
During the winter of 2002, Scooter of Malt Soda was on a mission to get a hold of one of his idols, Gizz Butt of legendary UK band..."The English Dogs". This entailed quite a bit of wasted phone calls and endless emails all around the world but, victory was soon at hand. The two talked on the phone a bit and eventually decided to have The English Dogs do a small California tour a few months later. Dates were set up with a variety of booking agents including The Rawk Mom, Jared (Red Dragon), and a few other cool people in the scene. Gizz banded together former English Dogs like Spikey T. Smith on drums, Shop on bass, and even the Dog's roadie Gavin King on git, who now plays in "The More I See" with Gizz. Half way through the booking process, Gizz called Scooter to let him know that it would be safer to tour under the name of "ATWAR" (The name of the last release by the English Dogs that stood for "All The World's A Rage") for one of the original members of the band wasn't so happy with the reformation of the Dog's. Most dates were already set and the clubs were promoting "The English Dogs, not "ATWAR". The band landed in LA and practiced some tunes with the help of a rehearsal space provided by the vatto's from SMD. Dave, from "Cell Block 5" managed to get some opening gigs with "ATWAR" and the 2 bands fast became friends. The tour went off nicely and ended with a amazing show at The Pound in SF with The Angry Amputees, The Sick, and RKL. Thank you to all the people that helped with this tour and we hope you enjoy a these tracks from both "ATWAR" (English Dogs) and Cell Block 5. Here are the dates that were played...
