Electronic and Spoken Word
A.k.a. Wyatt Keusch
Aurest is an electronic music project created by Wyatt Keusch at the California Institute of the Arts, while studying under such electronic and avant-garde music luminaries as Mark Trayle, Morton Subotnick, Ulrich Kriger, and Martijn Zwartjes. From it's inception, Keusch has considered Aurest to be a project, rather than a pseudonym. It is a heading for a body of work, not an alternate name for a man, though the primary contributor (and, in many ways, the driving force) is Keusch himself. A tenet of the Aurest sound is the notion of an audial labyrinth.
