Indonesian metal/grindcore/hardcore band AUTHORITY established in Jakarta, Indonesia on 19 February 1997, with the initial formation : Budhi (vocals), Sandy (guitar), Oelynk (bass), and Deddy (drums). After working for a month, Deddy felt less comfortable in the band and decided to get out, and in turn was replaced by Ary to fill the position of drummer. They also added an additional vocalist, Tegoh. In those AUTHORITY plays thrash metal rhythms and Death Metal, like Sepultura, Hypocrisy, etc... In mid-1998, the AUTHORITY to change the concept of their music, with rhythms start to play the Brutal Death / Grind . And since it is also Boppack joined the band as 2nd guitarist or lead guitar. But not long after that, Boppack was out of AUTHORITY, followed by Sandy, and then Tegoh. Boppack founded the thrash metal band named Sandy Hellerium while also setting up a death metal band called SPIRIT OF FINE. At this time, AUTHORITY had a vacuum for six months. In mid-1999, Bhephe joined as bass player to fill the void in AUTHORITY, Oelynk while trying to fill the guitar. Thus their formation becomes: Budy (vocals) Oelynk (guitar) Bhephe (bass) Ary (drums) With this new formation, AUTHORITY tried to participate in the local underground events at the time. In mid-2000 Oelynk resigned because he had activities that clashed with the band and it was impossible to divide his time, which caused Bhephe to decide to change the position of bassist becomes a guitarist, to fill the guitar vacancy. Finally, over the past few months search bassist position, at the end of 2000 Yudi (Duck) passed their internal selection and eventually joined AUTHORITY. Thus AUTHORITY formation when it is : Budhi (vocals) Bhephe (guitar) Ary (drums) Duck Yudi (bass) In this formation they started to make a mini air-titled EP 'Sick Of Violence Syndrome' which contained 4 tracks of BrutalDeath / Grind . After that, in April 2003, AUTHORITY made their first independent album entitled 'Brain Damage System', which was on the label by label Reborn (now The Eye). Due to a very complex problem, at that time decided to replace AUTHORITY drummer position, and finally officially declared Ary resigned from the band. The position was filled by drummer after Sapto (Sinusitis) as an additional drummer, separately participate in the local underground events at that time. After a few months, Budhi decided to get out of AUTHORITY as an internal problem, and this is the most difficult period for AUTHORITY, as the only remaining Bhephe and Yudi Duck. At that moment Yudi come to fill the bass on SIKSAKUBUR. Until finally, in early 2004 the total Duck Yudi states murder of the band because of his work to fill the position of bassist in SIKSAKUBUR. So at that time the only remaining member was Bhephe. That's when the most devastated of the AUTHORITY. But Bhephe still struggled to bounce back how AUTHORITY . After a few months, trying to pull Ary Bhephe finally returned to rebuild their AUTHORITY and eventually became a vision back to rebuild the band. And in today Qjay joined to fill the bass vocals as well, which at first only Waku activities to fill their free course, until there was a common vision among the three of them to build the band back. But at that time they changed the name into SoVT AUTHORITY (Sign Of Violence Tragedy), because it feared the use of the name AUTHORITY will bring new conflict with another former AUTHORITY personnel, who had founded the band. Thus at the time of their formation: Bhephe (guitar) QJay (bass / vocals ) Ary (drums) In this formation, they changed the concept of the earlier to new styles between grindcore, death metal, hardcore, and new metal. Until finally in October 2009, Qjay ruled out for reasons of SoVT preoccupations. As the result of an agreement between Bhephe and Ary, Budhi eventually they pull back a vocalist. With the return of Budhi, then returned again to name SoVT AUHORITY and also returned to their original concept by adding their grindcore side. But at that time they did not have a bass player and had to wear Irwansyah (Congor) as additional bass, but it did not last long until they finally get a bass player who is now named Eza (MPE).
