A.k.a. William Jourdain
Automatisme is the electronic music project of Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec-based producer William Jourdain, who has since 2011 self-released a brilliant series of albums and tracks under this moniker, exploring various intersections of ambient, dub, glitch and field recordings. Also, he completed the Art History program at the Université du Québec à Montréal in 2016, he is a visual artist and he is working since 2010 at Saint-Hyacinthe’s excellent Fréquences Le Disquaire record store.
