Avalanche consist of the married couple Kjetil Røsnes and Kirsti Johansen. The band has published many albums, where the first came already in 1990. The most known song is probably “Johnny Johnny come home” from their first album. The song was on the top of many European song lists, like Germany, Spain, and not a least France where it alone sold almost 700.000 copies. The couple has also composed or produced many songs, and had a close collaboration with the recognized producers Stock, Aitken, Waterman. One example is Samantha Fox’s comeback song “Santa Maria”.They lived in Germany and France almost the whole 90s, when they three years ago moved to Aurskog. They'd later record as K + K.
