Avraham "Yair" Stern (born December 23, 1907, Suwałki, Poland; died February 12, 1942. Tel Aviv, British Mandate of Palestine) is probably best known as the leader of the militant revolutionary Zionist group Lehi (Lohamei Herut Israel or Fighters for the Freedom of Israel), also called the Stern Gang by the British mandatory government and the Yishuv (Jewish) establishment. Stern was also a writer, composer and poet. On Discogs he will generally be credited for songwriting or composing.
