Avrocar hail from Birmingham and the black country in the West Midlands, U.K. The group have been compared to Nick Drake, Kraftwerk and My Bloody Valentine and have been cited as an influence by acts as diverse as Radiohead, Deerhunter and Tropic Of Cancer. Championed by Steve Lamacq (BBC 6 Music) and Mary-Anne Hobbs (XFM) they have carved a unique path through underground music. Disbanded in June 2013.
