Avy is a British singer-songwriter who formed the band Sharkboy in the 1990s. She went on to release 2 critically acclaimed albums and a collectors boxed set of singles for Nude Records, then home of Suede. Her partner at the bands inception was Adrian Oxaal who is now a member of the band James. Recently she began recording and writing new material, and studied animation and visual communication, producing music videos that are included in live shows. She is married and lives on the South Coast.
