Axel Falk, born 1963 in Gothenburg and raised in Skåne and in Värmland, is a Swedish singer. Falk debuted as a professional artist in 1981. He studied at the individual musician line at the Music School of Gothenburg, mainly for Professor Gunnar Forshufvud. 1984-85, Falk studied the Elisabethan music and vocal tradition in Sweden and England. For eight years he was a pupil of the main singer Hjördis Schymberg. During his years as an artist, he has made hundreds of concerts and radio and television programs in most of the Nordic countries. He has released six albums, featuring repertoire by Birger Sjöberg, Carl Michael Bellman and Evert Taube. In addition, he has participated in several collection volumes. He received Sten A Olsson's cultural grant in 2003.
