Romanian classical pianist. She started studying piano at the age of 5 at the George Enescu Music School in Bucharest. She also studied music theory, harmony, counterpoint and composition. At the age of 17, Axia continued her studies at the Conservatory of Lausanne, being admitted directly in the Master Course and later at the École Normale de Musique de Paris and the Royal Conservatory of Bruxelles, where she received her degree with great honors. She was awarded the Scheuring musical Grant in 2010. Her steady curiosity and search of beauty led Axia Marinescu to study Philosophy, being a graduate of the Paris University. She is a TED speaker and her articles were published in Germany and her native Romania.
