Recorded in Winter 1989 it was the swan song for the line up that had released the album Fathoms along with "Higher Than Heaven". Within three months the original B.F.G. had reformed and recorded "Blue". Fade Away was never released, the only copies being bootlegs. To mark the fact that the original B.F.G. are once again working together it was decided that "Fade Away" would see the light of day so that B.F.G. fans couuld finally the the entire works of the Manchester band.
