Börge Erland Ring, born December 16, 1946 in Stockholm, is a Swedish troubadour, composer, textbook writer, high school teacher and former priest. He is working as a teacher of religious studies and Swedish at Södra Latin school in Stockholm. He has written several books in religious studies and a large number of songs. Until the 1980s Börge Ring work as a priest in Stockholm. He has since 1960 written many songs, often with Christian content. One of the most widespread is his Swedish translation of the Streets of London under the title "Gatorna på Söder". Börge Ring is also represented in the Swedish hymn book 1986, Psalm No. 38b. He has also appeared with songs of hymns for children and youth.
