Artist Portrait

BJ Cole

stg, *1946 GB, London Borough of Enfield
Musician of Rock
A.k.a. Brian John Cole Manley Footwear

Born 17 June, 1946 Enfield, Middlesex, England. Few instruments are associated with one genre the way the pedal steel guitar is. It's almost exclusively America's country & western. However, British pedal steel guitarist BJ Cole has never been a one card trick. Since starting his own band, Cochise, in the 1970s, he has played with 'everybody' from disparates such as, Scott Walker, Marc Bolan, Björk and Luke Vibert. A virtuoso for over thiry years at any genre he turns to and much respected in the industry.
