Album US 1976 on M&K Sound Inc. label
Electronic and Jazz (Soul-Jazz)
(Hi-fi demonstration record for M & K Sound, Beverly Hills, California). A-side: Usually better known on the London Jazz-Dance scene (because it is all that's written on the cover!) as "The Bottom End". B-side: Unknown track. It is a church-pipe organ solo. (one of the best ways of testing bass/transient frequencies for subwoofers is by the sound this instrument produces). matrix number M+K 112 Az on Side One, is recorded at a higher/louder level, and has more clarity within its sound. This pressing also possesses more "Bottom End" within the bass, producing a fuller sound. Allen Zentz experimented with reproducing the quality of sound after the first LPs were cut, which resulted in these additional pressings. These are the matrix numbers of the "The Bottom End" 're-edits', but they are not bootlegs: M&K - 112 - 12 - 13 Az M&K - 112 - RE - 12 - 27 Az Historical summary available here: http://www.thebottomend.co.uk/the_bottom_end_lp.php
