This is a re-issue of the original Beat Junkies Volume 1 (as disc 1), and includes side A of DJ Babu's mix tape, "Comprehension" (as disc 2). This particular release does not provide a release date on it, and I was not able to locate one online, but the original release date (or year at least) was 1997. The track listing on the back cover of the cd and on the insert, do not list track 1 ("Intro"), track 8 ("Scratch Break"), or the first song on track 21 ("Father time (instrumental)"). As well, this release does not provide the track listing for DJ Babu's "Comprehension" mix tape. Track 4 (on the back cover of the cd) lists the song as "Jungle Bros." when, on the insert of the cd, it is actually "how Ya Want It (remix)" featuring the Jungle Brothers.
