Babylon was formed in Brisbane/Australia in the mid/late 90's by Blake Walker (who had fronted a number of cover bands in the pub/club circiut around this time) Drawing among other influences heavily from the music of Jeff Buckley, The Tea Party & the like, Babylon had a solid sound with fluidity and structure, as Blake had a long history with songwriting & performance. Session players were imported for studio & live, percussion being addressed by Cliff Young, & string duties by local cellist Belinda Whale.
