Ghanaian rapper, producer and sound engineer, born November 8, 1984 in Accra, Ghana. He spent many years in the State of California (U.S.A.) as a child, before returning to Accra and founding his own independent Nu Afrika Records. He was formerly a member of Skillions before leaving the group to focus on his own endeavors. Aside from his own career as a performinf artist, he is also one of the most recognized hip hop, hiplife and azonto sound engineers in the country, recognizable by his signature "Weiyɛ Ball J Beat" (English: this is Ball J's beat) stamped on several hit records. He was nominated for Best Producer of the year at the 2015 Ghana Music Awards. He released his solo debut album "Big Six" a year later.
