A.k.a. Baluji Shrivastava
Indian classical musician and teacher. Born on 23 January 1951, in Uttar Pradesh, India. Lost his sight in infancy. Studied at Lucknow University. Worked as an instructor at the Paris Conservatoire de Musique where he met his future wife and singing partner, Linda Shanovitch. Relocated to London in 1982. Has performed and recorded with Western musicians such as Boy George, Annie Lennox, Soul II Soul, Jah Wobble, Kylie Minogue and Massive Attack.
