Balum (Born March 9, 1988) is an Indonesian rock guitarist, songwriter and producer. Balum offer instrumental rock music with guitar as the mainly part of the song. Balum began playing guitar at the age of 12 by learn from various guitar lesson videos and books. He was influenced by guitarists including Slash, Paul Gilbert, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and Michael Romeo. He starts to write his first composition at the age 16 and getting more seriously when he moved to Bandung in 2007. Balum also has another band project called “Play-Mates” (Indonesian funky-rock band) and he also became a guitar instructor at AGC (Agung’s Guitar Course).
