Banana Boats was a band from the city of Logroño (Spain), which emerged in the ska scene in the early 90's with a proposal on the cool and warm with clear Jamaican roots and a mysterious black singer native named Byron Downs who was also the writter.The band underwent some changes over time, they changed their name to the Fabulous Dolbys to finally become The Starlites (6) current. The unique album of Banana Boats is considered one of the best albums in the history of Ska and Reggae in Spain
