Originally formed in 1959 as the Sasons (South African Sons). The band was a family affair. Brothers Peter, Derek & Benny Pulvenis and Stepfather Henry. They toured South Africa extensively, backed many famous local artists and took first prize in many Battle Of The Bands competitions. Their most notable feat however was in 1968 when they were almost entered into the Guiness Book of Records for a 52 hour non-stop show at the Skilpad Hall in Pretoria South Africa.
