Spanish brass band from Gulans - Ponteareas (Pontevedra), founded and conducted in 1870 by José Carracedo Dominguez, and later by his son and grandson until 1947. Later conductors: Rogelio Groba (1947-1952), from 1952 to 1959 were Miguel Groba and Indalecio Fernández Groba. Antonio Baquero, Francisco Rodríguez, José Fariñas e Rogelio Loureda were no band musician conductors but from 1968 to 1972 great-grandson of founder José Carracedo Dominguez, José Carracedo Pousada conducted the brass band. From 1972 to 1982 conductors were Javier Basoco, Plácido Lorenzo, José Aradas, Alfonso Méndez Méndez, José Guillén and José Oro-Val From 1982 to 1991 José Fernández Prego, then Hipólito Fernández Fernández, and then the first woman Alicia Porto.
