Barbara Kanam was born on September 27, 1973 in Bukavu, Congo Kinshasa (DRC), in a family of 12 children. African Diva is a musician, music producer and actress. Considered one of the most beautiful voices of the 1990-2000 generation, she excels in Afro-pop, Afro-folk and Ballads (Guitar / Voice) as well as Afro-Dance Music (soukouss, ndombolo, cut-off, afro-zouk). She began singing in 1991 by interpreting the repertoires of the great names of the song in the orchestra Dévotion. She then develops her vocal technique at the Psalmody Academy Rhema School in Johannesburg, South Africa. She also learns, for 13 months, playing guitar. It is with this instrument that she creates the acoustic repertoire of her first tour entitled "One Woman Acoustic Show" in Central Africa in 1994 ...
