Austrian actress, December 15, 1940 – February 22, 2002. She worked in film, often with Rainer Werner Fassbinder. Born Ursula Ledersteger in Vienna, Austria, Valentin was dubbed the German Jayne Mansfield during her acting career. During the 1980s, she was romantically involved with Queen frontman, Freddie Mercury. On February 22, 2002, Valentin died of a stroke in Munich. She is buried in Ostfriedhof cemetery in Munich.
