Rock (Prog Rock)
Barclay James Harvest produced some of the most enduring music of the 1970s and 1980s. Founded in 1967 by John Lees, Woolly Wolstenholme, Les Holroyd and Mel Pritchard, the band recorded a string of classic albums that earned them large successes all over Europe and still command a great following to this day. This brand new collection celebrates the band's most successful period while signed to Polydor Records, and visits a large portion of the back catalogue, with excellent live versions of several tracks. It has been compiled by Mark Powell, a well-respected writer and compiler in the genre, and features extensive sleevenotes.
