Barrington Levy is without a doubt one of the most profilic singers ever to grace the Jamaican music scene. Luckily he's also one of the very best, hit after hit delivered with skill and force in a career that even now continues to delight audiences the world over. On this collection we see Barrington developing and honing his roots techniques. An acknowldged master of the art as he sings over some of the toughest ridims from the classic period 1979-82. This collection is all from 12 inch 'disco's' where the sound quality gets a lot better and the 'dub' comes attched.
