Sebastian Schmidgen, better known as Bassart, started Djing in 1996. Tomita's album "Pictures at an Exhibition" from the year 1982nd brought him into electronic Music und spinning records. His great interest in electric music was awakened. To produce music started the techno DJ in 1999. His goal was to invent own soundscapes and make own sounds. Nevertheless stresses DJ Bassart that production is only secondary to him. Primary he was doing the synthesis of own sounds in eg Native Instruments Reaktor or Cycling'74s Max. With his style he is always looking for something different. He does not want to serve the mainstream. His sound is a mix of old and new Detroit, house, acid and techno. Bassart played in several Clubs like German Club (DE), Strasse E (DE), Solaris (Linz, AT), and many more. He played along with artists like Nima Khak, Sam Paganini, Zombie Nation, Oliver Huntemann and many more.
