Recorded Müchen Oct. '94. The Large Hot Pipe Organ consists of 20 pretuned pipes with a diameter of twenty six centimeters and heights from 3 to 10 meters. Sound is made by propane-air detonations inside the pipes, controlled by computer. Homsy developed a set of MIDI responders and other special sooper-sekritª hardware to enable direct keyboard and computer manipulation of the instrument. Live performance software is developed by Stok and Homsy, in the MAX programming language by Miller Puckette. Packaged in a gatefold mini card sleeve.
