Be the Hammer is a collaborative effort between Belgium based musician Dominique Van Cappellen-Waldock and noisemaker Raoul Puke. All of their sounds are created using a Big Briar theremin, looped and processed through a variety of pedals and plug-ins, then heavily edited and layered into a computer. The result is a collection of heavy, cinematic, nightmarish and (often) long tracks of drone/ambient noise that will take your mind to gloomy places. Their debut album, Tangled Mass, is now available on the DIY label Required Rate of Return Records.
