The Bedroom All Stars are making an impression on the hardcore scene with their metal edge, undeniable head bobbing grooves and intense performances. Thriving upon the members' diverse natures, the band combines their individual experiences in performing, fine and graphic arts to produce music that is embraced by a universal audience. Their sound is intelligent, but purposely not complex, and methodical. In a short time, the bands following has spread to a national level. "When Pip, Wood and I played a gig with Chanley and Ian, who were then members of Facade, we thought that the five of us would really work well together," Proof, the band's lead localist, says. "But we never dreamed of this." But as the band opens for groups like CKY, Mushroomhead, Switched, God Forbid, Zao, 3 Days Grace, Flaw, and Wolfpack and packs Peabody's for Korn's Post-Party, their fans continue to make them one of the most requested bands on 92.3 FM's Underground. "It's crazy. Everywhere we go there is someone who recognizes us from our shows and want to know where they can get a cd or see our next show," Bedroom All Stars drummer Pip says. The band contributes its intense stage show, which is untouched by others in the local scene, to the magnitude of support and energy of their fans and family. "We (the band and the fans) just feed off of each other's energy," guitarist Ian says. More than just the loyality of their fans, the Bedroom All Stars contribute their success to one another. "We all have the same dream as a band; it keeps us focused and unified," says bassist Chanley. Plus, they have a deal of repect for one another's talents. "We learn from and envy each other. I think that's what its supposed to be about," Proof says.
