Rock, Pop, Folk and World
U.K. Rock band Formed in 1971 in North London by former members of Irish showband The Alpine Seven, and american drummer Bob Siebenberg, who would later rise to fame in Supertramp. While touring heavily on the emerging pub rock circuit, they signed with record label EMI. By the time the album was released, the band was already beginning to break up. Frequent line-up changes preceded the dissolution of the band in 1974. Barry Richardson went onto his own Barry Richardson Band. Demick and Willy Finlayson subsequently resurfaced in Meal Ticket (2) and Fran Byrne moved onto Ace (7). Ruan O'Lochlainn formed Riff Raff (6) with a young Billy Bragg.
