DEEPER DOWN is the full-length album created my multi-media artist and singer-songwriter Ben Kaplan. The album was noted for the top-notch production by Tim Breon (Davy Jones, David Rose). His style ranged from atmospheric rock to ambient, keyboard-layered ballads to humorous urban folk rock. Much of the musician base was borrowed from the country rock band, Neon Cactus, whose members included "Easy" Mark Tomeo (Rubber Rodeo) and Bill Matlack, Jr. Legendary blues-rock guitarist Chris Bovard also contributed, as did keyboardist Johnny J Blair "Singer at Large" (on hiatus from his solo career and from working with Davy Jones/Monkees).
