Singer / Musician of Blues and Rock
A.k.a. Benjamin Ringel
Benjamin Ringel is the lead guitarist and singer of "The Delta Saints". Born in Louisiana in a household filled with music, Ringel learned to play the 1955 Harmony at the age of 10. He dreamt that one day he could play in a band like the Dave Matthews Band. Later he mastered the Fender Stratocaster, which was his favorite electric guitar. After being gifted a Dobro, he learned to play the instrument and immediately formed a symbiotic relationship with it. Ben Ringel went on to study at the Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee where he met David Supica, with whom he founded The Delta Saints. He is currently active, touring around 200 to 250 days a year. Benjamin says that he always strives to grow as musician and as song writer. He admitted that all his songs are based on some type of honest experience. Private-wise Benjamin hangs out with his wife’s and her family, most of the time for the holidays. Ben Ringel is married with Marie Hines, a famous singer/songwriter.
