Ben Wachter Profile: Ben Wachter,A.K.A Telairon, was born December 24, 1975, in the small town of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Though he grew up listening to 80s synth pop, among many other genres of music, what intrigued and caught Ben’s attention most was music which said something, music which was complex, intriguing, lush. By the early nineties he started listening to artists like Age of Love, Cygnus X and Push, all of which turned him on to the (then) new world of electronic music. Ben started creating his own music on his PC around 2003. It has become his full time hobby and he has been making tracks and mixes ever since. He has worked at an independent university radio station and has played as DJ for eleven years,working mainly within the electronic genre. As a DJ and producer, Telairon works within various sub-genres of electronic music, trance being his main focus.
