Titles of works given in shorter form on front cover, more fully on back and label. ℗ 1960, 1969, 1976 The Decca Record Company Limited, London. © 1986 The Decca Record Company Limited, London Made in Holland. BIEM/STEMRA. Philip Brett's sleeve note is printed on back cover alongside translations into French by J. Barnabé, into German by Gerd Uekermann, and into Italian by Fabio Perselli. A detailed insert gives English texts and translations into German and French only. The poems in all three song-cycles are translated into French by N. For the Burns cycle Decca's insert utilizes early nineteenth-century published translations into German.
