Benny & The Jets. Popular Newcastle band that formed in the 70s. Signed to the Copperfield label they released a couple of singles and album 'Hey Rock n Roll' that had much success in their home town. The band appeared on TV and played with Sherbet, Dragon, Hush, Billy Thorpe, Stylus, TMG, Radio Birdman and many more. In 1978 they released a single ''I Can Do It'' on the ATA label. Members: Steve Coburn (guitar vocals), Bruce McIntyre (drums), Rick Pointon (bass vocals), Dennis Butler (guitar vocals)
