Tinselsnakes is a story book and 7" 'dinked' record with a glow-in-the-dark 'Inkymole' 45 rpm record adapter in the middle of the record (unique to this release only), and limited to only 500 vinyl copies distributed worldwide by Unearthed Sounds. The concept and curation of this release was by Inkymole, aka illustrator Sarah J. Coleman, inviting Ed Garland to write a single story from 3 perspectives. The 'Child's', the 'Mummy's' and the 'Daddy's'. It resulted in a book and 7" record reminiscent of her memories of childhood storybooks-with-records. Inkymole illustrated everything for the release. The 'Child's story' is realised as an illustrated story book, 'Mummy's story' is a story to be read, and 'Daddy's story' was read and recorded by Bernard Dolan (B.Dolan) of Strange Famous Records and Speech Development Records. Music was produced by Buddy Peace, also of Strange Famous Records and Speech Development Records - the end result then committed to snow-white vinyl. The title on the cover is foiled in red, along with starry tinsel highlights!
