Bernardo Parrilla (Bernardo Fernández Gálvez) is a spanish violinist and was born in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz, 1969. From a gypsy family with a musical tradition, he is the son of the guitarist Juan Parrilla and nephew of Parrilla de Jerez. He formed a trio with his brothers Juan Parrilla (flute) and Manuel Parrilla (guitar) called "Alburejo". Well-versed in flamenco, his violin-playing can be heard with Morente, Carmen Linares, Joaquín Cortés (he did serveral international tours as part of Joaquín’s group), Antonio Canales, Manolo Sanlúcar, Tomatito (he is a regular member of the group), and many others. He lives in Madrid.
