Photographer Bernd Wittelsbach wanders between different worlds – between the contemplative Odenwald and urban Frankfurt. This sharpens the view for the respective special. His photographs tell stories without words. As in the classic analogue photography, which fascinates Wittelsbach again and again, his pictures focus on the subject, the scene, the situation. Bernd Wittelsbach studied anthropology and film, TV and theater sciences in Frankfurt for some years before he got hooked on photography. In 1989, he founded the photo studio Kontrast Fotodesign in Frankfurt, Germany together with photographer Andreas Mechmann. Kontrast Fotodesign provides commissioned productions for well-known clients from e.g. the advertising and health care industry, commerce, entertainment and tourism amongst other sectors (such as Esprit, Radeberger, Randstad, Asbach, audiophile-räume, Merck KGaA) both at home and abroad. But, smaller companies, individuals and artists (sculptors, musicians, etcetera) belong also to their client base. From architecture to lifestyle, from portraits to landscape photography, from events to still life photography, from reports to corporate work – Kontrast Fotodesign covers many topics. Kontrast Fotodesign has its own comprehensive picture archive, which is available for diverse purposes (editorial, advertising, news, corporate, reports, print, social media, web, B2C, B2B, amongst others). Kontrast Fotodesign has also its own photo studio in which various projects can be realized.
