BETTER TOOTH ORGANIZATION existed from 1990 - 1996 and was kind of a german response to CRUCIAL YOUTH: Straight Edge hardcore with a lot of irony in lyrics and artwork. BTO was founded in Stadthagen / Lower Saxony and later on moved to Hamburg. After the band split in late 1996, Mark and Christian founded LEBENSREFORM.
