Bass - Blues - Canada Producer, Tour Manager, Business Manager, Tour Accountant, Front Of House Soundman Big Ben Richardson has been a Professional Bass Player since 1980, Front Of House Soundman since 1982 and Tour Manager, Production Manager and Tour Accountant since 1994. His love of bass playing is only matched by his love of doing sound. As a bass player Ben has played with popular Toronto band The Phantoms (10 Years 1986-96), Canadian recording act Big Sugar (6 Months 1994), multi platinum artist Jeff Healey (2 Years 2002-04), and Cowboy Metal Austin Texas band Grady (2004-present) As a Tour Manager/Front Of House Soundman he has toured the world with multi platinum recording artists The Jeff Healey Band (5 Years), Amanda Marshall (5 years), and Big Sugar (10 Years) He has also toured as Front Of House Soundman for Canadian acts Colin James (1 year) and The Watchmen. Ben was co owner of Liquid Recording Studios in Toronto for 5 Years but had to give it up to move to Austin Texas to start Grady with Gordie Johnson. Ben still plays with Grady and currently works as Tour Manager/Front Of House Soundman and Business Manager for popular American iconic songwriter and rocker Alejandro Escovedo. - As at 2017
