A.k.a. George Watson (3)
From the liner notes by N. Brannoch from "Introducing Big George": Big George was born George Watson in the town of Irvine, Ayrshire, but never uses his surname. He has always been known as just "Big George". Weighing in at twenty-three stones, and with a sense of humour to match, Big George's cabaret act includes a hilariously funny "line of patter" about his size and girth. Nationally acclaimed as a first-class performer, Big George puts on his own show twice a year at such venues as the plush Darlington Hotel, Ayr, the famous Glasgow Rangers Club, The Talk of the North, The Central Club, Blackpool, and other noted clubs the length and breadth of Scotland and the North of England. Big George's good humour and happiness are portrayed in his selection of songs, and we feel sure that he is going to make a "big" name for himself with record buyers everywhere. We hope that you will enjoy this, his first effort, and watch out for his future productions.
