Born October 30, 1951 in Amarillo, Texas. Died March 17, 2010 from liver cancer. From ages 7 to 20 he lived in Carmel, California, and played in local bands, including guitar and vocals for 37 Scence. He then moved to Los Angeles, working as a trumpeter, hornist, pianist and bandleader, eventually playing and recording with the Eagles and Glenn Frey.
