A.k.a. William Carroll Franklin
Born March 29th, 1928. Started in radio at the age of six along with his brothers Delmas and Clyde, who performed as the Franklin Brothers. Later Bill became a member of the Skyline Boys, singing with the quartet and performing solo work. He played both mandolin and guitar. Died October 16, 2007.
