Band,
A.k.a. William Matlack, Jr.
Bill Matlack, Jr. is a noted drummer of stage and studio, based in Allentown PA. Currently he tours with The Cramer Brothers while subbing and performing with regional country, folk, and rock acts (and is a favorite drummer to be hired by Elvis Presley impersonators around the US). In the late 1980s, Matlack gained notoriety playing in a string of country and rock acts around Pennsylvania. In the 1990s, he was a key member of the country rock band Neon Cactus; that band released two significant recordings (one produced by Bret Alexander of The Badlees) and toured the NE USA, playing in large venues and opening for major artists such as Merle Haggard and Neal McCoy. As a well-regarded studio drummer, Matlack has done sessions for Davy Jones (Monkees) and Johnny J Blair "Singer at Large" (Matlack played on Blair's "Dancin' By The River," which received international airplay).
