Australian country singer, born 28 December 1914 in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada. Migrated to Australia in 1938 performing in vaudeville theaters around Sydney before recording six sides for Regal Zonophone Records in October 1939 and a second six in July 1940. Further recordings in 1947 including his noted version of ‘Sunny Queensland’. His final recordings occurred during the 50's for Fidelity, including several square dance records.
