Billy Oskay (born in Kingston, New York) is an American violinist, engineer and producer. Founder and owner of Big Red Studio, Corbett, Oregon, and previously Nightnoise Studios in Portland, Oregon, USA. In 1983 he met Mícheál Ó Domhnaill and the two recorded some music in his home studio. Those recordings became their album Nightnoise and also became the basis of an expanded four piece group of the same name. He recorded three albums with the quartet before leaving to focus on producing and engineering.
