Dance
A.k.a. Jean François Vallée
Bionic discovered electronic music in the late 80’s with the acid movement. That was when it all began. Soon he started mixing and discovered as many dj’s the sound of Detroit. He then evolved toward a more dancefloor-oriented pounding style of techno. His career in the radio world started in 1994. Between 1994 and 1997, he hosted 3 different shows revolving around electronic music, namely, Futur Mix, Versions Exclusives and M-tech. That allowed him to meet other local artists from Limoges, which will give him the possibility to mix in many events, notably in the Hi Tek Club. He played alongside artists such as Jack de Marseille, Fumiya Tanaka, The Advent and X dreams. Then, he was signed on the SPC MUSIC Label, which counts the sub labels: spacecraft rec, flasher rec, sexy toys rec, hémisphère rec, and audiocrash rec. Later, he participated to the creation of Flash FM, a local radio station In Limoges, that dedicated a consequent part of its programming to electronic music (approximately 10 hours a day). There he deejayed, was responsible of the electronic music programming and soundengineer for their jingles & commercials. In early 2004, along with the manager of the Spacecraft label, he opened the "SPC Record Shop", store dedicated to the selling of electronic music vinyls.
